using red paint, onto white top of shirt.  Let dry.  Come back and sponge blue stars randomly over both halves of the shirt. After the paint is dry, cut along centerline of the shirt.  Pin under a 1\2" hem along both sides of the shirt beginning where the two shirts are fused together and continue down ward.  Turn under the top edges to form the V.  Pin.  Using the steam setting on your iron or wet press (use a damp piece of cloth between the iron and the fabric) the hem in place.  Trim the lapped over edges of the V-neck line to 1\2" seam allowance.  Cut enough 1\2" wide pieces (again, it is easier to work with the shorter pieces) of fusible web to line both cut edges.  Fuse to the wrong side along both edges of the shirt using the pressed line as a guide.  Trim web where necessary.  Fuse wrong side to wrong side for hem.  Run a line of washable glue along ribbing cuts to seal.  You may also need to glue where the two shirts meet at the hem.

Glue the Velcro fasteners down the front of the shirt using the washable glue.
