You will need a pair of pliers to remove the belt’s buckle. As you can see from the picture to the right, once the buckle has been removed a loop has been left and another loop is found on the opposite end that allowed the buckle to fasten.
This is one of the main reasons I like metal belts above most other belts, just a quick removal of the buckle and you’re ready to sew the belt to each side of your purse thus turning it into a handle for your purse.

I like this belt because I can easily divide it into two handles because of its design: one half of the belt is all circles while the other half is made of flowers and circles.
