In order to turn a belt into a handle for your purse you need to start with the right kind of a belt. I’ve found that metals ones work best or are the easiest to change from a belt into a purse handle. They are by no means the only type of belt that works for this project. I’ve found thin leather ones, beaded ones and
other decorative belts that lend themselves well to being turned into purse handles, the main requirement is that you like the looks of the belt, the size of the belt, think it would fit well with the purse you will be adding it to and there is some way of attaching the belt to the purse.
