This is a great no-sew project that that takes a couple of old or discarded sweatshirts and combine them into a one of a kind article of clothing. If you don’t have a couple of sweatshirts hiding in your closet ready to be re-made, try your local thrift store to find what you need.  By thrift store shopping you are not only saving money, but your purchase goes to helping someone in need.
Adult supervision is required for children due to the use of an iron.
Materials:
1 Red sweatshirt a size larger than you would normally wear, 1 White sweatshirt a size larger than you would normally wear, 1\4 yd Fusible web for heavy fabrics, Machine washable glue, White fabric paint, Blue fabric paint, Red fabric paint, 1 small magic sponge or regular sponge, Shirt board or cardboard, Paper towels, 5 Round Velcro fasteners, Ruler and Scissors

Measure down 3\4" from each armpit on white sweat shirt and draw a line across the shirt.  Cut on this line.  Do the same for the red sweat shirt.  Set the white bottom and the red top portions of the shirts aside. For this project you will only be using the red bottom and white top.
