When the water boils, place the smaller pot in the larger one (you are making a double boiler with the two pots), you want to keep the water boiling. Remove the wrappers from the candles and break into pieces.  Place all the pieces into the top of your double boiler (small pot) and let melt.  Don’t worry about the wicks in the melting candles they will stay in the bottom of the pot even when pouring the wax.

As the wax melts, get out 3 wicks and dip ea one (one by one) and place in the center of the lidded box (lid removed of course).  This will help keep the wick in place when filling the box with the melted wax.

Once the wax has melted, use one of the aluminum measuring cups to scoop up the melted wax and fill each box.  Let cool then trim the wicks.
