GO GREEN
SHOP AT YOUR LOCAL THRIFT STORE
Going green is not only great for the environment, but can be very economical as well. You save money by washing your clothes in cold water instead of hot. You save money by walking more and driving less. You save money by eating your leftovers and not throwing them out. All of these are great for the environment and great for your wallet, so why not shop at your local thrift store.
You can find anything and nothing at all there. Vintage things, brand new things, stuff for the collector, books, cd’s, movies, junk, and lots more. You name it and probably at one time or another someone had found it at a thrift store. Not only can you find the things you want there, but also you find them at a price you love! See, great for the environment and your wallet as well.
The things found there are items someone no longer wants. They are too good to throw away, but not worth the effort for the person donating it to drag it out one Saturday and sale the stuff on the lawn.
Not only are you keeping things out of a landfill and making your footprint on earth smaller, but you are helping other people as well. The money made at thrift stores goes to programs to help the poor, homeless and disable people in your area. It’s a good thing. Shop at thrift stores. Save the environment and help someone less fortunate than yourself.
