Giving Memories

    Giving memories is probably one of the easiest and most memorable gifts you will ever give. I remember one year I found all of these family pictures of my husband and his brothers.  My first thought was to take the handful of photos and show them to everyone.  Luckily I quickly had another, better idea.  Christmas was near and these old photos would make a great gift.
    A trip to the craft store and I had matching frames, decorative paper for the background, rub off transfers of words like: Family, Brother, Sibling and Friend.  Most importantly I found photo safe, acid free, sticker squares to put it all together with.
    I laid out all the background papers and began the hard task of deciding who got what photos, what transfer words I wanted to use and just were to put what photo.  When I finally like what I saw I took a picture of it with my digital camera.  This way when I took everything off to begin the layering I knew just what when where.
    Finally the big day arrived.  Each brother got their own special wrapped gift and opened it.  The there was silence.  For a second I was afraid this had been a big mistake.  Could it be men didn’t feel the same nostalgia when it came to old childhood photos?
    The answer: No!
